Thermophysical Properties Laboratory has developed high accuracy capabilities to support thermal expansion measurements of solid materials at temperatures ranging from room temperature to high temperature (~1,000 °C). The laboratory also responsible to ensure all thermophysical properties for thermal expansion measurement in the country meet and comply with the global measurement standards.
Laboratory Facility:
NMIM plays an important role in disseminating the traceability of measurement to the whole country based on the International System of Units. Just like other world standard laboratories, NMIM has great responsibility in ensuring the national metrology infrastructures meet and comply with the global measurement standards.
